Whitney Kidd has over 15 years of professional experience in prop-tech and property management and is a founding board member of the W. Collective, a women in leadership network for the student housing industry. Whitney joined Preiss in 2022 and serves as the Senior Vice President of Innovation and Technology. She is responsible for the development of revenue-generating technology initiatives serving the Preiss portfolio and broader multifamily markets. Prior to Preiss, Kidd co-founded the connectivity scoring company, ROVR Score, which provides owners and operators a platform to monitor, score, and promote the quality of Wifi connectivity at multifamily dwellings. During her time as an active partner, she oversaw the operations, sales, and go-to-market strategy for the organization, which expanded to 50,000 student housing beds, 16,000 multifamily units, and 75 communities in the first year of business.

Registrations for OPTECH 2026 are reserved exclusively for individuals at RETTC member firms.
All RETTC member firms receive one complimentary registration to OPTECH as part of their core membership benefits. Additional registrations can be purchased. Sponsors, exhibitors, and committee members may also qualify for extra comp registrations.

Additional Complimentary Registrations
RETTC and OPTECH sponsors, along with select NMHC sponsors, receive additional complimentary registrations to OPTECH. In addition, firms with NMHC Executive Committee and Board of Directors membership status also qualify for more comp registrations.
Firms with multiple sponsorships or memberships may stack comp registrations. For example, a RETTC housing provider that is a RETTC Icon sponsor, an NMHC Friends of the Council sponsor, and an NMHC Executive Committee member would receive 14 comp registrations in addition to the comp registration included in their RETTC membership.
