We’ve taken the best part of OPTECH—the people—and created a year-round space for connection, collaboration, and maybe even some really good times. Whether you just want to connect with people with similar interests and passions or want to really roll up your sleeves and get to work on shaping priorities or developing new resources to advance real estate tech, we’ve got options for you with our peer-to-peer networking groups, working groups, and committees.  

So go ahead. Dive in, speak up, geek out with other real estate tech lovers. This is your community. 

Peer-to-Peer Networking Groups

RETTC’s new Peer-to-Peer Networking Groups (P2Ps) are the perfect way to meet fellow professionals who share your interests, challenges, and passion around tech and innovation.

These groups are all about building your professional network, so no major commitments, no big agendas, no pressure—just regular, informal conversations with people who care about similar things and share similar experiences. You can talk trends, share insights, swap resources, or just find a sounding board.

To get us started, we’re coming out of the gate with four P2P groups that touch on distinct areas of the real estate tech ecosystem. Groups meet online for ease and consistency—but if there’s a good reason to gather IRL, we’re all in. Meetings are virtual. Space is limited. All members are encouraged to apply.

Working Groups

More than a networking group, our working groups are purpose-driven teams created to tackle a specific challenge, opportunity, or resource need identified by RETTC leadership. These groups dig deep into the details, shape smart and actionable solutions, and make recommendations on resources and tools to support our advocacy or programming work. Most meetings are virtual, but in-person gatherings are encouraged. All members are eligible to apply.

Ready to Level Up? Check Out Our Committees

RETTC is the new home to NMHC’s tech and innovation-focused committees. These committees offer executives the chance to move beyond traditional networking and step into roles where they can directly influence policy, develop industry resources and grow their leadership in the field. With more structured work plans and higher levels of engagement with RETTC’s senior staff, you’ll work alongside the industry’s experts to shape advocacy and industry education efforts that matter.
